ne day in Canterlot.... Spike, now older, takes Rarity on the best date of their lives..... From sightseeing and shopping, to a romantic dinner and exchange of gifts, they make their way to a high balcony...
Rarity: Today was absolutely fabulous my precious Spikey-Wikey.
Spike: I'm glad it was everything you hoped for.

Rarity: Go ahead sweetie. Ask me anything.
Spike: After all the years I've chased you.... After the all the years of being rejected by you..... What made you make your decision?.. I mean I know I was persistent.... But I wanted to prove to you that my feelings for you were beyond that of a crush..... Even when I moved on..... You were the only mare my heart ever beat for..... I just want to know.... What made you choose?...
Rarity:...... I made myself choose..... Back then... when you were finally of age..... My feelings for you were mixed..... I've watched you grow from being an adorable little dragon....to a mature and handsome young dragon.... I always thought we should just remain friends because of how things were between us. I thought that we could never have a proper, long-lasting relationship..... But I was wrong.... As my feelings for you grew ever so strong. All this time..... I realized that my special somepony..... my number one.... is my precious Spikey-Wikey..... *tears roll down Rarity's eyes as she smiles as well*
Spike:..... Rarity...... *spike wipes away her tears and holds her close with comfort and warmth*
Rarity surprises Spike with an intimate and passionate kiss, in which he kisses back the same way. Both hug and hold each other close.
